Process Knowledge-guided Autonomous Evolutionary Optimization for Constrained Multiobjective Problems

    Get PDF
Various real-world problems can be attributed to constrained multi-objective optimization problems. Although there are various solution methods, it is still very challenging to automatically select efficient solving strategies for constrained multi-objective optimization problems. Given this, a process knowledge-guided constrained multi-objective autonomous evolutionary optimization method is proposed. Firstly, the effects of different solving strategies on population states are evaluated in the early evolutionary stage. Then, the mapping model of population states and solving strategies is established. Finally, the model recommends subsequent solving strategies based on the current population state. This method can be embedded into existing evolutionary algorithms, which can improve their performances to different degrees. The proposed method is applied to 41 benchmarks and 30 dispatch optimization problems of the integrated coal mine energy system. Experimental results verify the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed method in solving constrained multi-objective optimization problems. The National Key R&D Program of China, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Shandong Provincial Natural Science Foundation, Fundamental Research Funds for the Central Universities and the Open Research Project of The Hubei Key Laboratory of Intelligent Geo-Information Processing.http://ieeexplore.ieee.org/xpl/RecentIssue.jsp?punumber=4235hj2023Electrical, Electronic and Computer Engineerin

Multiple Gravity Assist Spacecraft Trajectories Design Based on BFS and EP_DE Algorithm

    Get PDF
The paper deals with the multiple gravity assist trajectories design. In order to improve the performance of the heuristic algorithms, such as differential evolution algorithm, in multiple gravity assist trajectories design optimization, a method combining BFS (breadth-first search) and EP DE (differential evolution algorithm based on search space exploring and principal component analysis) is proposed. In this method, firstly find the possible multiple gravity assist planet sequences with pruning based BFS and use standard differential evolution algorithm to judge the possibility of all the possible trajectories. Then select the better ones from all the possible solutions. Finally, use EP DE which will be introduced in this paper to find an optimal decision vector of spacecraft transfer time schedule (launch window and transfer duration) for each selected planet sequence. In this paper, several cases are presented to prove the efficiency of the method proposed

Purpose: Build a multi-objective Flexible Job-shop Scheduling Problem(FJSP) optimization model, in which the makespan, processing cost, energy consumption and cost-weighted processing quality are considered, then Design a Modified Non-dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm (NSGA-II) based on blood variation for above scheduling model. Design/methodology/approach: A multi-objective optimization theory based on Pareto optimal method is used in carrying out the optimization model. NSGA-II is used to solve the model. Findings: By analyzing the research status and insufficiency of multi-objective FJSP, Find that the difference in scheduling will also have an effect on energy consumption in machining process and environmental emissions. Therefore, job-shop scheduling requires not only guaranteeing the processing quality, time and cost, but also optimizing operation plan of machines and minimizing energy consumption. Originality/value: A multi-objective FJSP optimization model is put forward, in which the makespan, processing cost, energy consumption and cost-weighted processing quality are considered. According to above model, Blood-Variation-based NSGA-II (BVNSGA-II) is designed. In which, the chromosome mutation rate is determined after calculating the blood relationship between two cross chromosomes, crossover and mutation strategy of NSGA-II is optimized and the prematurity of population is overcome. Finally, the performance of the proposed model and algorithm is evaluated through a case study, and the results proved the efficiency and feasibility of the proposed model and algorithm

A resource selection optimization model for data grid

    No full text
In order to meet data grids' data service reliability and transmission time constraints, and to take account of the network load and efficient use of node resources, a resource selection optimization model for data grid is presented. The model can give the optimal decision-making of the collection for participating nodes, and at the same time, set the weighting factor to balance network load and resource costs. A backup node transmission strategy is proposed to further enhance the usability of the model. The simulative experiments show that the model and the strategy are correct and effective
